Frank Glomb and Family
Once you meet Frank Glomb it is easy to understand why he is so well liked within the community. His warm and caring personality are evident upon speaking with him. Frank moved to Washington Township three years ago from Frazier Township. Since then he has given to the community through the local fire department and has become a good friend to many people.

Frank works as a nurse at St. Margaret's Hospital in Pittsburgh. He has always liked the medical field and wanted to become a nurse because it would allow him to have more patient interaction. His wife Arlene is also a nurse.

The life of a nurse can be very busy and so far this year Frank has put in over 4,000 hours. There is such a demand in nursing that you could work 24 hours a day every day and there still would be a need. Before his career in nursing Frank was pursuing a career as a Minor League Baseball player. A temporary injury took him out of that field and now with his nursing career he doesn't feel that it would be possible to pursue professional sports. However, he would like to one-day coach a local team.

One day he would like to get into anesthesiology in addition to flying the Stat Med Evac helicopter. When Frank isn't busy at work or at the fire hall, he enjoys every moment that he can spend with his wife and new son Bradon.
