Coach Sam Albert
Highland's Sam Albert has coached football 20 years, so he knew coming in last season in his first year as head coach of the Golden Rams, it would be a challenge. It was. But despite the down season, last year's players and this year's players hung in.

"What I'm really pleased with," Sam says, "is last year we had 35 players. And it could've gone the other way; we could've had 20 this year. But instead, the kids had a great off-season. We averaged about 40 kids in the weight room every day and we have 72 players out here this year, so we're really excited."

The Golden Rams have already proven that Albert has a reason to be excited. In their season opener against Valley, the Rams re-captured the bragging rights to the Tarentum Bridge for the year, beating the Vikings 27-7.

To get the kids ready in the off-season, Albert used some unusual methods. But what do railroad ties and Tom-Tom Hill have to do with Highlands' Football? Coach Albert tells you for himself in the video interview and online article at http://www.alle-kiskitoday.com/webcasts/1467
