At Apollo-Ridge, Coach Robin Coleman's squad has earned a special place in her heart. On their own, the Vikings cheerleaders decided to do something special for Apollo's Halloween parade on October 31rst: dress up like Mardi Gas and collect money for Hurricane Katrina survivors.

"This year's squad is very energetic and focused on the task at hand," Robin says. "I feel this is probably my best squad I have had. The girls keep the crowds going and are very interested in school spirit."

The Vikings' cheerleaders are made up of Kayla King (Captain), Kristen Kenney (Captain), Amber Coleman, Ande Altmire, Kim Carnes, Sarah Dobrosky, Lexa Lockhart, Kailyn Shaffer, Dani Greene, Betsyjane Galie, Erica Curcio, Amber Ogden, Kayla Stefaniak, Emily Bauer, Emily Munzert, Amanda Brown, Haley Shaffer, Leigh Wenckowski, and Cassie McCutcheon.
