When you see Alle-Kiski Varsity cheerleaders rallying crowds at a game, you're seeing the tip of the iceberg.

Leechburg's cheerleaders, coached by Debbie Young and Jennifer Ulizio (former Leechburg cheerleaders themselves), also work in businesses' food and game booths during Leechburg Days.

Ulizio says they also "sponsor a cheerleader mini-camp for grade K-6 during the summer. And [later] they sponsor a community bonfire to recognize the Fall athletes, where the mini-camp squads perform. The girls [also] act as guides for the Sixth Grade orientation in August."

But still keep your eyes open when they cheer--the Blue Devils' cheerleaders toss candy, shirts and footballs into the crowds during games and assemblies.

The young ladies who are Leechburg Varsity Cheerleaders are Lindsey Smith (Captain), Lindsey Ulizio (Captain), Tess Olshansky (Mascot), Kelsey Adamik, Haley Bradbury, Claire Brady, McKenzie Criswell, Allyson Ferretti, Chelsea Matarrese, Tori Rupert, Ashley Tarosky, Marissa Tira, Adrienne Arndt, Karlee Fisher, and Katie Rameley.
