Some cheerleaders also compete in other sports.

Burrell has "a fall squad that cheers for football and soccer, and a winter squad that cheers for basketball and wrestling," Coach Cory Pavlik notes.

Burrell Junior Varsity Cheerleaders

"It's their decision if they want to cheer for fall, winter, or both. It helps the girls be able to participate in other sports other than cheerleading."

The first-year Bucs coach already has a relationship with the girls from coaching JV last year.

Burrell 9th Grade Cheerleaders

"They've made the job easy for me because of their talent and cooperation," Cory points out. "This is a great group of girls that work together very well and are always willing to try new things."

The Buccaneers' cheerleaders are Cassie Majocha (Captain), Ashlee Ortman (Captain), Julie Twidwell (Captain), Chelsey Clark, Cara Conti, Candace Gartley, Lauren Gigler, Melinda Hare, Ellie Hess, Alycia Linden, Ashley Lindo, Erika Mazur, Nicole Moret, Jennae Mudrinich, Lea Nelson, Dominique Perriello, Chelsey Reimer, Alison Sacriponte, Abby Schmelzer, and Jenna Speer.
