Apollo-Ridge graduated many key players last spring. That’s a scary thing when you play in one of the toughest conferences. Coach Jerry Moore pulled some new tricks out of his bag. “We did a few special things not normally done, to help the program,” he says, not divulging trade secrets. He’s very excited about this year’s team, after what he called an “exceptional camp.” “Most are ‘no-names’ many have not heard of, but I’m really pleased with them. They've earned my respect. It’s a great pleasure to go to practice every day with them. Every freshman, every sophomore, are all contributing to the team. I'm real high on our kids. I wouldn't put anything past this group.”
