Deer Lakes Coach Denny Fedigan

Denny Fedigan coached at North Catholic for 22 years before making the shift to Deer Lakes four years ago. His program is starting to kick in. The Lancers lost 11 seniors last spring, yet Coach Fedigan believes this team can take the program further. “We’ve established a goal to make the playoffs and that is what we are striving for,” Fedigan says. “If we find that these people can perform at the level we think they can, then we should be much improved over last year and make the playoffs.” Though he and his coaching staff push the team concept, success this year in part is on the shoulders of the line, including several senior backs. Fedigan says, “When I look at this squad and roster, our strength is the defensive and offensive lines. There’s some experience there and depth and size. Most of them are all starting on both sides of the ball.”
