This dish makes a great healthy treat for that after school treat, late night snack or even that last minute get together or party. Wow your friends with something different. Take advantage of fresh local produce. This salsa is virtually fat free.

  1. cups of diced peeled fresh tomatoes ½ cup fresh raspberries, mashed ½ cup fresh strawberries, mashed or sliced
  2. tablespoons of chopped green chilies
  3. tablespoons brown sugar
  4. tablespoons of finely chopped onion
  5. tablespoons grated carrot
  6. tablespoons water
  7. tablespoon lemon juice
  8. teaspoon minced jalapeno pepper
  9. garlic clove, minced ½ teaspoon of salt ¼ teaspoon chili powder Tortilla chips (preferably baked).

Get your favorite bowl and combine the first 13 ingredients. Refrigerate covered for about 2 hours and then serve with your tortilla chips. Don’t forget to protect your hands with rubber or plastic gloves, when cutting hot peppers as not to burn yourself.
