Our area is known as "Carbide Valley" because of the high concentration of tool and die shops throughout the region. One of these, Kinton Carbide, was an early pioneer in having their own web site. Seeing the value of getting their company online led them to commissioning HighVision Studio for design and hosting.
Kinton Carbide specializes in Sintered Tungsten Carbide Clad Replacement Wear Parts for Coal-Fired Electric Power Generation, Foundry, Pulp Mills, Cement Plants, and Refractory Industries. They produce an array of parts ranging from direct replacement to custom designed parts to meet the specific wear-resistant applications. Conducting business worldwide, Kinton Carbide has been in continuous operation since 1966.
Their web site at www.kintoncarbide.com opens in one screen-shot each for the homepage and company information, making it easy to get a full view of what they have to offer. The simple index at the bottom of the page easily leads the visitor to where they need to go. Three pages explain and illustrate their product lines without getting too complex or involved. A very nice touch for a quick view.
Two other pages offer an automated response form for more information or a direct email message for an inquiry. All in all, the simple layout, clean design, and quick views make this site a pleasant one to visit.
