Every month the Women's Missionary Society of the Lower Burrell Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church meet to receive monthly news from the mission field. Although they support missionaries in Haiti, Ghana and South Africa, the mission work at Northwestern Indian Bible School in Montana receives monthly support. Pastor Terry S. Zeigler said that church members are "very supportive, faithful and give well to the work".

One of the most enjoyable times in the woods is after a good snow storm. Snow seems to create an almost surreal environment. It dampens sound and makes the woods very peaceful. And it if is a heavy snow, like the one we had the first Saturday of whitetail season, it coats everything including the branches. But despite the beauty, a forest with that much snow lurking with potential danger.
