The modernistic limestone building sitting solemnly on the Tarentum hillside somewhat contradicts its elegant contents. You aren't sure what to expect when you first walk inside the august and comely vault-like structure—it's mysterious, and I'm thinking CIA! Once inside, however, you are soon surrounded in a setting of exquisite, polished refinery, and you realize you have walked into a cavernous treasury of over a century of this region's legacy. Found at the corner of Lock Street and East Seventh Avenue, this pearl inside the clam is the Alle-Kiski Valley Heritage Museum.

The kids on this team are very goal-oriented. They have made goals for themselves and are trying their best to achieve them. Many of the swimmers have achieved personal best times and qualified for WPIAL Championships!"

Veterans of Freedom Serving His Country By Air
Flying over Nagasaki Japan, John Conry was held captive by the sheer devastation that he witnessed. “You can’t imagine the destruction the second atomic bomb did. It was completely destroyed…everything was gone.” Although he wasn’t in Japan at the time the bombs were dropped, John spent two hundred hours in flight in his tour after the war transporting hand ammunition and assisting the return of the Japanese back to Japan.
