The Dedicated Making Dreams Come True
Anthony Infante has always had a heart for helping children. In fact, as his friend Denny Dolmajor stated, “He is a kid at heart himself and he has a heart for kids with affliction.” While working at a camp for physically challenged children Anthony developed a great desire to help children with special needs. As enthusiastic as Anthony is in regards to these children, he also has a great zeal for bow hunting. He would have never imagined that an opportunity would open up that would combine his desire to help children with his passion for bow hunting. But incredibly enough it did. It turned out to be not only a dream come true for the children but one for him as well.

AK Educators Upholding the Tradition of Excellence
Great things are happening in the Kiski Area School District. The new superintendent, Dr. John Meighan continues to propel the Kiski team forward to astounding accomplishments. Yet he does not take any credit for the achievements, instead, he strives to stay out of the limelight in order to recognize the efforts of each member of the district.

Veterans of Freedom Offering Hope To Veterans
“I find the Navy very intriguing. They don’t put limitations on you, the only limitations are what you put on yourself.” And Hopeton has taken advantage of that mentality to learn and experience everything that he can. He’s been engaged in combat, trained to work on aircraft, trained medics and worked as one himself. However, one of the most valuable things that he’s gained in all of this is a heart of true compassion towards other veterans. “A veteran can understand another veteran” And he does understand.

Healthy Eating Shrimp Stew
One of my favorite things to eat is shrimp and there are so many creative ways to fix it. You can use it in pasta, stews, salads, even on kabobs, and don’t forget shrimp cocktail. Here is a lighter dish that is easy to make, has healthy ingredients and is much lighter in fat than a traditional meat stew. While shrimp may not be so healthy for the person with high cholesterol, it has its benefits with no carbohydrates and no fat. Try this colorful and different recipe for your next meal.

I was driving through Springdale the other day when my eye caught an interesting store sign. It wasn’t a big store sign or even one with lights. Just a simple sign, “Busy Times Bookstore”. As I was passing by I thought, “How does a small bookstore like that survive”? It didn’t take me a few seconds to decide to go back and visit the bookstore. Usually I call ahead before I do an interview, but today I just walked in the store.
