Everlasting Arms Puppet Team
Instead of children having to be looked after while their parents were at Bible Study, Sue Milligan of Kiski Valley Presbyterian Church, decided to do something different and creative. In 2003, Sue formed of the "Everlasting Arms" Puppet Team and directs it her self. The group practices while parents study.

The team performed three shows this past November. For one show, the team went to Cheswick Christian Academy. The team got wonderful feed back from the other kids. Another show was on November 30, 2004, the team when to Pleasant Hills Manor Nursing Home. "The older people loved it," said Sue.

The ages range from Kindergarten to early high school age. The 11 kids currently perform two different shows consisting of skits and music. One show is about creation and the other is about the body of Christ. The kid’s personalities come out dramatically in puppets. One puppet does great dancing while others display wonderful facial expressions, which takes skill. The kids have a great deal of maturity and discipline, which is necessary to be successful in the group. "They take ownership of the show," says Sue.

They have done so well. "I love to see the kids to a professional job," says Sue. "They get such satisfaction from it. The kids want to keep the program going." Sue will be working on third show to add to the list for production in January.
