Hillcrest Alliance Church

The local Hillcrest Missionary Alliance Church is continuing their 100 year focus on mission work by hosting their annual missions conference in February. This is a week-long event that involves singing, worship and speaking from traveling missionaries. There will be a children’s musical and a puppet program. There events for all ages – even a senior’s lunch. The non-members are welcome to attend all activities.

Reverend Joel McGarvey, from Peru will be speaking on February 13th & 14th and Reverend Mark Mindek from Macedonia February 15th. These missionaries travel through the country for a year and will be stopping in at Hillcrest Alliance. These missionaries tell about work, cultures and how they live. Program times are 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on those evenings.

The Christian Missionary Alliance focuses on teaching the church and the community all about missions. Many of the missionaries that are supported go out into the field for four years after training and then return to their home country for one year.
