The Allegheny-Kiski Health Foundation will hold its 2003 "Community Health Symposium on Men's & Women's Health Issues" this Saturday at the Clarion Hotel in New Kensington, from 9am to 2pm. The symposium will feature a keynote presentation by KDKA TV2 Medical Consultant, Dr. Maria Simbra, entitled "Media and a Healthy You: Determining the Quality of Health Resources Available to You." The event will also include presentations by physicians and healthcare professionals on topics such as Hormone Replacement Therapy, Prostate Health, Osteoporosis for Women, Hip Fractures, and Heart Health Symptomology.
There will be display booths and free refreshments available. All events are approved for Pennsylvania ACT 48 Educational Hours. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. To register call 724-226-8332.
