The Washington Township Fire Truck

The Washington Twp. Vol. Fire Co. Would like to invite you to its first annual Safety Extravaganza at the fire hall located on Route 66 on October 12, 2003. The show will run from noon till 5 pm with setup for those attending starting at 10:30 am.

This is not just a simple show of fire trucks or equipment, but a chance to let the public try it out for a day. Their goal is to show the uniqueness of some of the equipment from the valley and how they rely on each other for those pieces of equipment. There will be several cars for the public to cut, hose streams to try, and so on in an attempt to attract some new members and teach the public some fire safety in the process. There will also be some games with prizes from some local merchants.

The following is a list of equipment and attractions that we are currently trying to acquire for the day.
