The Plum Borough Community Library will be beginning several special children's programs the next several months. There will be a special guest children's author; Debra Pedrow: The author will read her book "Aunt Debra and My Favorite Things Poster". Then the children will create their own "favorite things" poster. Pre-registration is required.

Then, on October 5th, the Library Sleep-Over is back by popular request. They will have this sleep over on October 4th at 7:30 pm through Sunday, October 5th at 9:00 am. No drop offs. An adult must sleep over with their child. Pre-registration is required.

Next its Tomi de Paola's Birthday Celebration. This will be held on Monday, September 15. The library will have stories and crafts and a birthday party from 10:30 to 12:00 noon. Pre-registration is required.

Lastly, guest Beth Fife, Allegheny Co. Wildlife Conservation Officer will present Wildlife of Plum and a walking tour behind the library. See Plum's rich habitat. Tentative Schedule the first week of November. Please check the library for the exact date. You can contact them at 412-798-7323.
