The Kiski Area High School Marching Band, the Big "K," will host its Annual Kiski Competition at Davis Field in Vandergrift on September 6, 2003. Eleven guest bands will join the Big K in performance competition.

Visiting bands represent all performance classes and hail from Sharon, Fox Chapel, Deer Lakes, Beavercreek (Ohio), Brockway, Woodland Hills, Harborcreek, Erie, Norwin, Beaver and South Park. Beavercreek and Norwin perform in the National Class of high school bands, meaning these bands have placed high in national competition.

The Kiski Competition offers spectators the opportunity to witness the skill and pageantry of over one thousand high school students in a demonstration of music talent and choreographed marching.
