The Washington Township Municipal Building

The Fort Hand Festival at Kunkle Park is scheduled for September 13th, 2003, from 8am to dusk. The events that are planned for the festival includes polka dancing and performances form the Ray Skovensi Orchestra, the Jim Rhoades Band ant the Barn Hill Country Band. There will also be plenty of children's activities. These include a moonwalk, crafts, face painting, pony rides, puppet show, and a magic show along with a kickball tournament between Mamont, Washington and North Washington Elementary Schools. There will also be a nice variety of delicious foods and crafts.

Entertainers, craft and flea vendors, food vendors, community service and development groups and neighboring community groups are all still welcomed and encouraged to attend. Interested vendors or participants should contact Margo Shannon at 724-882-6878 or Jan Teeple at 724-567-6741.
