The hard work and never-say-die ethic of the Kiski Lady Cavalier Varsity Girls Soccer Team was superbly demonstrated in their final home game against Oakland Catholic on 10/14/05 at the Kiski Area soccer home field. This was a must win game for the Kiski Girls to go into the playoffs as the top team in their section.

Some of the Kiski fans described this as the most exciting last 6 minutes in sports history. The Lady Cavs came from a 2-0 deficit to score 3 goals in the last minutes with the go-ahead shot coming in the last 15 seconds. The good times continued to roll for the Kiski fans as the Junior Varsity Lady Cavs also had an outstanding game and rolled over the Oakland Catholic visitors.

Coaches Tim Sharek, Kevin Plowman, and Neil Terrill and these girls have worked long and hard to come to bring this team to this competitive level and have worked with many of the same players for the past 6 years. This is the first time in Kiski's 16 year girls soccer program that the team has reached the top place in the section. Good Luck to this outstanding bunch in the playoffs.
