Watt's Overlook facing the Freeport Bridge

The Alleghany Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of Harrison Hills have been working diligently with Allegheny County to have the view restored once again at the Watt's Overlook in Harrison Hills Park. Recently, Layhew's Tree Service removed trees on the hillside which were blocking the view of the river valley.

The view is back and it is remarkable! When the sun returns it is a must to see! Enter the park off of Freeport Road. At the fork continue left. Follow that all the way to the end. The Overlook is right behind the swing set.

The Friends group is working with the County Parks Deptarment to have proper signage installed. The view is now available for all who care about and visit our park!
