Natrona Heights, PA, September 22, 2006
Come and discover the majestic fall foliage in Harrison Hills Park on Saturday, October 7 2006 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will venture out on a short hour hike observing the different species of
trees, looking for Hickories, Maple, Oaks, as well as the unusual, like the Royal Paulowia, Bladdernut and Fringe tree that have been identified in the park. After a short hike through the woods, we will enjoy sampling of Italian meats, cheeses, and breads. Also, in honor of the country Christopher Columbus thought he had found, we'll have an Indian vegetarian dish. The sampling will be at picnic tables in the park next to a pond and we'll have a remote controlled sailboat for use by the Columbus wannabees.
