The 2nd annual Big “K” Cruise-In was held on Sunday, October 8 from 11AM to 4 PM at the Kiski Area High School. The gates opened at 8:30 AM to accommodate entries. The entry fee for all types of vehicles was $5. There were dash plaques for the first 150 vehicles entered and trophies for 6 classes: Best of Show, Motorcycle, Truck, Street Rod, Street Stock, & Sports Car. This year there were 2 special divisions for high school and college students only; Street Stock and Street Rod.

There were randomly drawn door prizes for exhibitors, a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese Auction with over 50 raffle baskets, as well as an abundance of good food and baked goods. There was even a special performance by the Kiski Area Marching Band during the afternoon!

Last year the event drew 265 entries and benefited Harrison Central High School in Gulfport, Mississippi during Hurricane Katrina Relief efforts. This year the Cruise-in was held to benefit the KA Marching Band. There were 422 entries.
