The Freeport Lady Yellow Jackets extended their unbeaten record to 16-0 following Wednesday night's volleyball match with the Leechburg Lady Blue Devils. Freeport beat Leechburg, 3-1 matches to 1, at the Leechburg gym as both teams brought their regular seasons to a close. Jackets Coach Tom Phillips saw the season-ending match-up against always-tough Leechburg as good preparation for the playoffs, noting how well Leechburg Coach Ellen Toy always prepares her teams.

It was also Senior Night for Leechburg. The Lady Blue Devils were led by seniors Jamie Bologna, Erica Romaniw, Caitlin Schultz, Kayla Craig, Emily Batiz, Karlee Fisher, Jessica Queck and Ashley Klingensmith. Below are a few pictures from the match. Leechburg is in blue, Freeport is in white.
