Viva Las Vegas! The 2006 Kiski Area Marching Band performed their "Viva Las Vegas" routine at the Bands of America Regional Championship in Towson, Maryland on October 21st. Out of 25 participating high school marching bands from as far away as Orlando Florida and New Miltford Connecticut, the Kiski Area High School Marching Band took 2nd place in the competition with a score of 82.25. They also received awards for Outstanding Visual Performance and Outstanding General Effect as well as placing 1st in Class AA.

The band’s final performance of the 2006 year was at the PIMBA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association) competition at Norwin High School on Saturday, October 28th. Kiski took 1st place with a score of 94.63 and received awards for Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Music Performance and Outstanding General Effects.
