Light-Up Night is Thursday 11/16 7:00 to 9:00 PM. "Note 4 Note", a barbershop quartet, will be traveling to different businesses and singing carols.

Commercial Avenue will be rockin' with The Maguires, a music group, who will be adapting the traditional Christmas carols from 7 to 9 p.m., weather permitting.

Crime Watch will be taking pictures with Santa in the Municipal Building from 7 to 8:30 PM

"Christmas Campfires" on Brilliant Ave. and Commercial Ave. will provide warming spots for socializing and meeting others.

The Civic Association will be offering hot Aspinwall Coffee, hot chocolate, butter cookies and face painting.

Wear your "Victorian Hat" and join us for a fun evening.

Christmas Parade Saturday 11/18

Randy Grossman, a former Steelers tight-end from 1974 to 1981, will be this year's Grand Marshall, leading the familiar sounding Highlanders Bagpipe Band and local Shrine units through the town's streets.

The route will return to the one it followed years past due to some complications in last year's alterations to the parade, Welsh said. Beginning at Aspinwall Field on Field Street, the parade will go through town and end at Center and Commercial Avenues.

For an hour, Center, Commercial, Eastern, First, Brilliant, Loop, Emerson and Fourth streets or avenues will be blocked off in Aspinwall.

Local businesses that would like to be included in the holiday festivities by offering a raffle or decorating a vehicle to ride in the parade can call Rosie at 412-784-8272.
