The Allegheny Township police are investigating the theft of a 2002 Toyota Corolla from Amsler Auto Body on Bourbon Hill Road, New Kensington. The vehicle was last seen at Amsler on Saturday around 3pm. It was stolen sometime between then and Monday morning. The vehicle is described as sand in color and is a four door bearing PA registration. Anyone who has information should contact the Allegheny Township Police Department at 724-845-9410 or 911. In addition, the Allegheny Township police filed charges of possession of drug paraphernalia against Derek Tierney in relation to an incident, which occurred, at Pops Stop Mini Mart on November 5. The police had been called to the scene for reported suspicious persons. During the incident, Tierney was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle. Charges were filed through Magistrate McCutcheon's office.

Police are also currently investigating an accident that took place on Saturday along SR 356 South of Hourglass Photo. Jennifer Wilcox of Leechburg was traveling south on 356 when she impacted a vehicle driven by James Schrecengost of Vandergrift. The impact caused Schrecengost's Chevrolet to roll over. Jennifer than hit a fence before coming to a stop. Lower Kiski Ambulance took James to the Kittanning Hospital. Jennifer was extricated from her vehicle by Kiski Valley Special Services and transported to Allegheny Valley Hospital. Markle and Allegheny Township VFD responded to the accident.
