Thanks to funding made available through the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the Trust was able to upgrade the computers in the computer lab at the Armstrong Education Center. Work Certified Program Underway

The initial offering of Work Certified, a work readiness preparation program, began on August 27. The AET is partnering with PA CareerLink, Career T.R.A.C.K., and Indiana University of Pennsylvania through the Tri-County Workforce Investment Board to offer this program at the Armstrong Education Center and the PA CareerLink Armstrong County. Employers from the Armstrong County Manufacturing and Health Care Consortia spearheaded the effort to initiate the program.
