The Friends of Harrison Hills Park are hosting a benefit for the new Environmental Learning Center. The evening will be a preview opening of the center and will include hors d'oeuvres, wine, music, nature art display, tours and silent auction.

The proceeds will be used to purchase equipment and supplies for nature classes and outings for children and adults in the center.

The Environmental Learning Center is on Chipmunk Drive in Harrison Hills Park.

This is the first and only indoor facility in the Park. It took hundreds of community volunteer hours to convert a 100 year old farm house, that had been unoccupied for 14 years, into an Environmental Learning Center.
