Sarah Kasanicky

Each year Leechburg Elks Lodge 377 awards a scholarship to a deserving student to assist with the cost of their books and school supplies. This year the award was presented to Sarah Kasanicky, daughter of Joseph and Debora Kasanicky, of Gilpin Township.

Sarah graduated this year from Leechburg Area High School. She was very active during her high school career in softball, cheer leading, the Interact Club, Student Council, and SADD. Sarah will attend Clarion University in the Fall where she will major in Early Childhood and Special Education.
