Plum, PA, July 21, 2008

The Presbyterian Church of Plum Creek will host “Living Proof Live 2008” a live simulcast led by Bible teacher Beth Moore on Friday, August 1, and Saturday, August 2, 2008. This is one of the few churches in the area that will be hosting the event. Moore will lead a fun-filled Bible study, teaching, and worship experience to enrich the mind, soul, and spirit. Travis Cottrell and the Praise Team lead times of musical celebration and contemplative worship.

The simulcast will be broadcast live via satellite from the sold-out “Living Proof Live” event in Louisville, KY. This is the fourth nationwide Living Proof Live simulcast. The benefits of participating in the simulcast include enjoying the event from the comfort of a local church, saving the cost of travel expenses, as well as allowing many more women to attend the event.

Moore's mission is to guide women everywhere into a richer, more fulfilling relationship with God. She is a woman of purpose, preparation, prayer, and passion. It's apparent in everything she does, from teaching Sunday School at her home church to sharing her biblical insights and observations in her Bible studies and books. She has published seven Bible studies. She has also written a devotional journal as well as an inspirational collection of poetry and essays. Her eighth trade book, When Godly People Do Ungodly Things, is now on the Christian Booksellers Association's best seller list.

The two-day simulcast will kick off on Friday evening, August 1, 2008. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the simulcast will take place 7:30 – 10:00 p.m. The event continues on Saturday, August 2, 2008. A continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. The simulcast will take place from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Tickets for the simulcast are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. All women from the community are invited to attend and experience this event.
