If you love pets, plan to attend the Pet Blessing on October 4, 2008 at 4:00 pm on the back lawn of Spring Church Lutheran Church. The Pet Blessing is being sponsored by Spring Church Lutheran Church and Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church.

All animals may be brought for a blessing by Pastor Kim Rapczak and Pastor Terri Swails. This blessing is conducted in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures and whose feast day is October 4th.

Boiling Springs Presbyterian Church

The bond between person and pet is like no other relationship. No wonder people enjoy the opportunity to take their animal companions to church for a special blessing. Church is the place where the bond of creation is celebrated. There will be treats for the animals, and refreshments for their caregivers also.
