The Fox Chapel Crew Club Men's Lightweight 4 won a gold medal in their event at the Head of the Ohio Regatta on September 27, 2008. The rowers in the lightweight 4 were seniors John Flickinger and Adam Miller and juniors Tobias Foglia and John Power. Junior Michael Sparta was the coxswain.

The Head of the Ohio is an annual event held on the North Shore in Pittsburgh that attracts rowers from high schools, colleges, clubs, and corporate teams from the U.S. and Canada.
