Yellow Jacket is a term you should know if you drive on local highways. It could mean a traffic citation like the 30 that were handed out on Route 22 in Salem Township recently. Sixteen warnings were also issued. One person received a speeding citation for doing 59 mph in a posted 35 mph zone.
The Yellow Jacket enforcement program is in response to traffic fatalities. Troop A will continue to conduct these extra enforcement details at various locations in an attempt to curb the rise of traffic fatalities.
A word to the wise - don't speed.
