Despite the cold blustery weather outside, the sound of laughter warmed the Ballroom of the Leechburg Elks Lodge recently as Mike Venneman and Chris Hegedus performed to a capacity crowd. Venneman and Hegedus, both from Cleveland Ohio, peppered their routines with local humor that kept the crowd laughing and begging for more. This show was just another of a series of "entertainment events" planned by the Leechburg Elks Club. Some of the proceeds from this and future events will be used for the charitable works of the Lodge, including the Drug Awareness Program, the Home Service Nurse Program, and Veterans and youth activities. Rob Heinle of Lower Burrell was the Master of Ceremonies for the event. Music before and after the show was provided by DJ Stan Zydonik Jr.
