Telethon Hosts

History was made this week with the Internet Webcast of the Kiski Area School District's Annual Christmas Telethon. The taped and live versions of the webcast were broadcast all week on Kiski Valley Today Online www.kiskivalley.com. This new and exciting media avenue enabled viewers from across the nation to see what was once limited to local accessibility. The live Webcast on December 14, was hosted by Kiski Area students Stephanie Kiebler, Liz Brooks, and Phil Hartle.

Camera Crew

Stacy Krotzer helped briefly behind the camera before going out to help at Kmart. Eric Peppler also operated the camera and worked as Floor Director. He explained that the job involved giving cues to the hosts of the show.

John Tedorsky, Technology Services, and Denny McElhaney, Technical Advisor, worked with the telethon committee to help keep the webcast running smoothly. Mr. Tedorsky stated that he was very happy with the way the telethon worked out and already has some great ideas for next year's webcast.
