On the morning of October 12, over 2431 Allegheny Power customers suddenly found themselves without electricity. The outage began at about 9:15am and lasted until 1pm. After speaking with Allegheny Power representatives, we found that the trouble was on a main line with a piece of equipment-insulator and piece of wire. Five line men and one substation engineer were dispatched to repair the damage on lines next to the Riverview Trailer Sales on River Road.
