The deadline for Leechburg Area Hall of Fame nominations is drawing near. The Leechburg Area Community Association (LACA) must have all nominations in a list form by December 31st. . This will enable them to have time to discuss and approve those that will be inducted into the Hall before the induction ceremony that will be held in March. This ceremony is usually held at the Gilpin Fire Hall in Gilpin Township. Those considered eligible for this honor are prominent people of the Leechburg Area School District, native sons/daughters, or non-native residents who have resided in the Leechburg Area School District for five or more years, deceased or living who have made outstanding contributions to the community.

You can get your application for this from the Leechburg Area Community Association. If you have an application it must be sent to LACA, PO Box 513, Leechburg PA or dropped of at the Leechburg Floral Company on Market Street. You must enclose $5 with your nomination.
