     Raider Freshman Lands WPIAL Medals

     Well,  she  did it. In her first year competing in the  WPIAL,
     Riverview High School Freshman Gymnat Rachel Groggel  captured
     two  medals  at the WPIAL Gymnastics Finals held  Saturday  at
     Moon Township.
     
     Area Well-Represented in WPIAL Basketball Playoffs

     A  total  of 19 teams from the Alle-Kiski region are in  post-
     season  basketball  play, according to the basketball  playoff
     pairings  the WPIAL announced Tuesday evening. Ten boys  teams
     and  nine girls teams will be hitting the courts over the next
     two  weeks.  Preliminary "pigtail" rounds will  be  held  this
     weekend.
     
     Local Missionaries To Be Honored For Service

     Kendal  and Juana Blose, Caring Hearts Ministries Missionaries
     to  Mexico, will be honored at a Saturday February 25th dinner
     at the Vandergrift First United Methodist Church. They will be
     honored  for 15 years of missionary service. They will provide
     an  educational multi media program on their work with Mexican
     orphans   and   other  children  ministries.   Caring   Hearts
     Ministries  is  providing the dinner free to those  attending.
     Reservations are required.

     What to do when the CIA emails you
     In short – delete it.
     The  latest  variations  of the Sober  worm  are  depressingly
     widespread at the moment because people are fooled by messages
     that  appear to come from the FBI or CIA.  A simple and, you’d
     think,  obvious scam but many people are tricked into  opening
     the  attachment  to  the email, so there’s enough  people  out
     there  who  would not find it strange to have the FBI  or  CIA
     email  them  personally. The messages have an  infected  email
     attachment  and  should be deleted, certainly not  opened  up.
     There’s  no risk in reading the message in your email programs
     preview  pane.  It’s certainly common at the  moment  –  we’re
     getting  hundreds  at the moment and have had  many  questions
     from  readers about it. The Sober worm itself is  nothing  new
     but  there’s  been an explosion of messages generated  by  the
     worm, presumably from people being tricked by the contents  of

     The  tax  records  show that Isaac David  was  taxed  on  his
     business  as a bookbinder in the Leechburg/Allegheny Township
     area.  But  he was taxed in 1807, when the area was  sparsely
     settled with very few businesses, and Leechburg did not  even
     exist.  Nothing else is known about Mr. David and his  books,
     nor  who  wrote  them  or  read them. Read  more  interesting
