     COMPUTER~INTERNET TOOLS AND TIPS

How to print an imported picture in Microsoft Office

If you've ever tried to print an imported picture, you know
that sometimes it goes wrong. The picture comes up on
the Print Preview, but it doesn't print right. This
           problem happens when:

         * You're printing to a ProScript printer, and,
         * You saved your graphic file in the Windows Enhanced
           Metafile (.EMF) format, or
         * You created the picture in Corel Draw and then used
           Export To .EMF.

This can be avoided by using a Non-ProScript printer. Or you
can use the a different format and continue using a
           ProScript printer. [Source: computertips.com]

STILL STANDING: In 1794 several families met to worship.
Ministers sometimes journeyed to their frontier meetings, in
spite of hostile Indians and rough untamed terrain. In time,
Rev. James McConnell became their first regular pastor, and in
1811 they built a log church along Puckety Creek. Despite many
burnings, the church has been rebuilt and still remains today
as Puckety United Presbyterian Church in Lower Burrell. Read
more interesting history at Our Local Heritage at above site.

We love to tear things apart to see how they work. Trouble is,
we often can't get them back together, and there's so much
stuff we'll never get our dirty mitts on -- like an EKG
machine, a nuclear submarine, or, well, a guillotine. However,
today's Pick goes a long way toward satisfying our curiosity
by walking us through the assembly of hundreds of objects.
Explore all seven extensive, searchable volumes here, covering
items as diverse as the humble hot dog and the majestic
concrete beam bridge. If you've ever been curious about how
things really work, how they the heck they get made, or what
exactly artificial blood is, simply point your mouse in the
