The 2008 Kiski Area High School and Intermediate School Cheerleaders cheered for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers on November 8th, 2008 at Heinz Field in the Louisville football game. Photos by Robin Laero.

It is a sport whose season is year-round. Those on cheerleading squads practice, tumble, dance and encourage their teams through great wins and heartbreaking losses from August to June. These are their stories.
